Training courses
The ANNA PIKURA Clinics organize training courses in the field of aesthetic medicine.
The lessons include non-invasive and less invasive methods of face rejuvenation and wrinkles elimination. They consist of theoretical, demonstrational and practical parts and are conducted by certified medicine doctor specialising in aesthetic medicine.
The lessons conducted in groups of 4 to 8 persons are independent from pharmaceutical companies or manufacturers of the preparations, hence their impartiality. The participants will receive certificates in Polish and English.
A training course on usage of botulinum toxin type A for correction of the wrinkles in the upper face.
Training scope: upper areas of the face
Course of the lessons:
Theoretical part
General information – the structure and mechanism of action of A type botulinum toxin
Contraindications and possible side effects
Techniques of injections
The preparations employed for wrinkles’ correction with botulinum toxin
Tools and equipment in the treatment room (needles, syringes, devices for anaesthesia, cold compresses)
Making assessment of patient’s eligibility for the treatment
determining possible contraindications
analysis of face mimic
interview with the patient
agreement to the treatment
keeping the patient’s chart
photo documentation
Preparation of the patient for the procedure
determining the proper body position during the procedure
preparing the solution for injections
Pre- and post-procedure treatment
principles of hygiene and disinfection
care after the procedure
treatment in case of side effects (complications, Mephistopheles effect, correction)
Demonstrational part
Presentation of performing the procedure by the medical doctor teaching the course.
Practical part
Preparing the worksite
Principles of hygiene and disinfection during the procedure
Practical exercises in botulinum toxin usage (horizontal and vertical wrinkles on the forehead, correction of crow’s feet)

The participant brings over his/her own model.

Price: 1300 PLN per one person.
The course curriculum includes the lower face and such issues as bruxism, hyperhidrosis and other. The course does not include the issues covered by the basic level training.
Training scope: middle and lower face areas, hyperhidrosis and bruxism
Course of the lessons:
Theoretical part
General information – specific principles of applying botulinum toxin to the middle and lower face area and the neck
Determining injection spots (shaping the browridge, wrinkles of lower eyelid, “smoker’s wrinkles”, “bunny lines”, defects of nose tip and chin, dynamic defects of the neck area)
Employment of botulinum toxin as the preparation for hyaluronic acid filling
Advanced techniques of eliminating cheek wrinkles caused by activity of the zygomaticus major muscle
Botox-lift, Mesobotox and microinjection techniques
Treatment of hyperhidrosis of the armpits, feet and palms
Employing botulinum toxin in the therapy of bruxism (for aesthetic and functional reasons)
Demonstrational part
Presentation of the techniques by the medicine doctor teaching the course.
Practical part
Performing the procedure on a chosen area under the supervision of an instructor.
The participant brings over his/her own model.
The participants will receive certificates in Polish and English.
The lessons in groups of 4 to 8 persons are independent from pharmaceutical companies or manufacturers of the preparations, hence their impartiality.
